He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Blakeney of Duluth, MN; his friend Mary Prijatel of Ely; his children, Reid (Terry) of Waskish, MN, Kerry (Holly) of Albuquerque, NM, Stacey Lamppa of St. Louis, MO, Stefanie Olson (Dan) of Duluth, MN and Darcie Clark (Robert) of Charleston, SC; and his brothers, Herbert Lamppa of Tower, MN, Roger Lamppa (Joan) of Virginia, MN and Fred Lamppa (Karen) of Britt, MN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
