He was predeceased by: his parents, John Starr (Jack) and Violet Starr (Tootie); his significant other Patty; his father-in-law Theodore Heikkinen (Vienna); his niece Heidi Hannu; and his great-nephew Tyler Birchem.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Starr of Santa Cruz; his half-brother David Starr (Terri) of Mellen; his sister-in-law Peggy Schultz (Jim) of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and his pet Frankie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
