We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024, at the age of 84, Joyce Lila Marie Solinger (Virginia, Minnesota), born in Hibbing, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Lila Marie Solinger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Matt Maki and Lillian Maki (Gibson); her husband LeeRoy G. Solinger; her grandson Mitchell Saltzman; her son David Solinger; and her brothers, Walter and Maurice.

She is survived by : her daughter Kristen M. Peterson of Mt. Iron; her brother Roger Maki (Hermene) of Hibbing; her sister-in-law Carol Maki of Hibbing; her grandchildren, Dylan Peterson, Kyle Peterson and Samantha Martin; and her great grandchildren, Landyn and Twilla. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1111 S 8th Ave W, Virginia, MN 55792). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1126 9th St N, Virginia, MN 55792).
