With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patty Ann Monson (Virginia, Minnesota), who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Sletten and Lorraine Sletten; her sister Marilyn Norby; her sons, Terry and Bruce; and her great grandchild Xoi.

She is survived by: her close friend John; her brother Douglas; and her children, Joel, Jim and Kim. She is also survived by great grand -children; numerous nephews, nieces, in-laws on both her and her husband.

After nearly 15 mostly optimistic years of battling Parkinson's disease, Patty's spark – her admirable strength, her determination and will, her spunk and love of life – is no more.
