He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mae Lucy and Henry Joseph Dupre; his children, Virginia, Milt, Lloyd, Gene, Gordie, Shirley and Norma; his wife Diane E. Nelson; his son David; his grandson Anthony Rush; and his children, Barbara Dunbar (Bill), Robert Dupre (Rita), Gregory Dupre (Karen), Deborah Perron (Kevin), Thomas Dupre, Mary Anderson, Keith Dupre and Richard Dupre (Matthew Woods). He was also cherished by his 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
