It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simon Olaf Jensrud of Virginia, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Jensrud, and Minnie Jensrud, Sr. (Cook); and his son Dennis Jensrud. He is survived by: his wife Kay Jensrud; his children, Qetler Jensrud of Akron, OH, Scott Jensrud (Marife) of Virginia and Julie Hopper-Norvell (George) of Tomball, TX; his grandchildren, Allen Jensrud, Tyle Jensrud, Amber Shaw (Eric), Hannah Jensrud-Fritz (Dave), Amy Jensrud, Jacob Jensrud, Eric Hopper, Evan Hopper (Kourtni) and Elissa Hopper; and his great grandchildren, Camron, Landon, Lydia, Blaklee, Skylar, Kinsley and Hayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
