It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter A Haglund of Virginia, Minnesota, born in Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Haglund and Helen Haglund (Sampila); his stepfather Nestor Wuori; his brother-in-law Jim Ritz; and his parents-in-law, Dave and Ethel Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Strbavy; his sons, David, Walter (Erin) and Brian Haglund (Donnelle); his grandchildren, Alek, Andrew, Adam, Aaron, Kaliegh, Devyn, Tyberious and Meredyth; his great grandchild River; and his sister Linda Ritz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
