She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Eggenberger (Smith) and John Eggenberger; her husband Richard "Dick" Schurhammer; her sons, Daniel and David; her brothers, Donald Beaham, Milton Eggenberger and Roy Eggenberger; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Baird (Jerry).

She is survived by : her children, Denise Wagner (Tom), Kara Kohner (Jon), Dana Schurhammer, Sarah Bronner (Dave), John Schurhammer, Shelley Thurber (Denny Wilson) and Heidi Johnson (Tony); her grandchildren, Blaze Wagner, Ethan Kohner, Chase Thurber, Dillon Thurber, Cory Schurhammer, Jessica Schurhammer and Courtney Schurhammer; her great grandchildren, Emma Johnson, Alison Johnson, Sophia Thurber, Kyson Thurber, Ryker Thurber, Maxine Kohner, Henry Kohner and Maizy Wagner; and her sister Mary Lou Schuth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
