With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William M. Fitzgerald of Wabasha, Minnesota, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Fitzgerald and Dorothy Fitzgerald of Elizabeth's Hospital; his brother John "Butch" Fitzgerald (James Fitzgerald); and his sister-in-law Kathy Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his significant other Rhonda Leisen; his significant other's children, Shawn Leisen (Rachael) and Amanda Birkeneder (Rob); his sister-in-law Sandra Fitzgerald; Trent Birkeneder and Triston Birkeneder.
Memorials are preferred to St. Elizabeth Foundation; Wabasha- Kellogg Playground Fund, or Wabasha Food Share.
