Lorraine Rita Wagner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Lorraine Rita Wagner of Wabasso, Minnesota. Lorraine, born on November 21, 1936, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoffmann and Mary Elizabeth Hoffmann (Salfer); her husband Bernard Wagner of Anne's Catholic Church; her siblings, Sylvester Hoffmann (Marion), Alvina Remiger (Melvin), Louis Hoffmann, Leonard Hoffmann (Kathleen), Lucy Bernardy (Norbert) and Cletus Hoffmann (Barbara); her parents-in-law, Otto and Martha Wagner; and her siblings-in-law, Cyril Gengler, Delores Otto (Harlan "Butch"), Gerald Wagner (Joan), Ronald Wagner and Arlene Rebstock (William "Bill").
She is survived by: her children, James Wagner (Mary) of Belle Plaine and Margaret Wambeke (Keith) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Alexandra Steinhoff (Dustin), Taniyah Darsow (Christopher), Evan Dickey, Courtney Dickey and Mikal Dickey (Marshall Gressly); her sister Marcella Gengler; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Eichten (Wagner). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (950 North St, Wabasso, MN 56293). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Father Diehl Endowment Fund at St. Anne's Catholic School in Wabasso.
