He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Westermann and Lillian Westermann (Becker); his wife JoAnn Ehrich; his sister Joyce Olsen (Ralph); and his brother-in-law Bernard Ubl.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Westermann-Schley (Jeffrey) and Thomas Westermann; his grandchildren, Wesley Westermann-Schley, Samuel Westermann, Henry Westermann and Maddie Westermann; his sister Margaret Ubl; his niece Kristine Kergis (Greg); his nephew Michael Ubl (Susan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert, Tyris, Samantha and Jessica.
