With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene J. Werlich of Waconia, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Werlich and Mary Ellen Werlich; his daughter Michelle Werlich; his grandson Eric Swanby; and his great-nephew Noah Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Bertsch; his children, John Werlich and Leslie Swanby (Michael); his grandchildren, Mariah Mosser (T. J.), Max Werlich and Christina Swanby (Aidan); his great grandchildren, Ashton, Valley and Althea; and his siblings, David Werlich (Sandra) and Mary Catherine Charlson (David). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
