With sadness, we share the passing of Jean A. Bakken of Waconia, Minnesota. Jean, born on April 25, 1944, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Jean for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schuettpelz and Caroline Schuettpelz (Brandenburg); and her siblings, Judy Monteuffel, Janet Bueckers and James Schuettpelz.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Westphal of Buffalo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
