The family announces the passing of Loren W. Huepenbecker of Waconia, Minnesota on October 11, 2026. Loren, born on April 19, 1931, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Huepenbecker and Mathilda Huepenbecker (Kroells); his wife Edna; his siblings, Gerhard Huepenbecker, George Huepenbecker and Donna Gehrke (Norman); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence "Buddy" Miller, Charles Bailey (Jimmy), Benjamin Bailey, Jack Bailey, Mary Lou Bailey and Iris Alexander (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his children, Loren Huepenbecker Jr. of Norwood Young America, Lloyd Huepenbecker of Waconia and Laurie Davies (Gregg) of Chaska; his grandchildren, Mitchell Huepenbecker, Matthew Huepenbecker, Dustin Huepenbecker (Annee), Nathan Huepenbecker, Alicia Huepenbecker, Ryan Engelen (Samantha), Brandon Engelen (Merissa) and Kelsey Larson (Chris); his great grandchildren, Ariel, Vaughn Huepenbecker, Fiona, Cameron Engelen, Calvin, Russell Engelen and Dean Larson; his siblings, Bernette Dallman and Harold "Butch" Huepenbecker (Kathy); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Miller, Marlene Bailey and Cheryl Bailey. He is also survived by step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
