With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn L. Borka of Waconia, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Schmitz and Eleanor Schmitz (Wickenhauser); her husband Richard Borka; her siblings, Helen Hansel (Louis), Florence Schmitz, Sally Miesler (Gilbert), Ethel Hartmann (Leroy), Ruth Louis (Wilfred), Jeanette Patrick (Terry), Lorraine Kelzer (Stanley), Wilfred Schmitz (Sally) and Eugene Schmitz (Elaine); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Borka; and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Klatt, Marie, Joseph Eischens and Emily Lueck.
She is survived by: her children, David Borka (Marcia) of Faribault, Michael Borka (Brigid) of St. Paul and Cheryl Rademacher (Robert) of Cologne; her grandchildren, Nathan Borka (Brianna), Ryan Borka (Sheryl), Sarah Hatfield (Taylor), Emily Borka (Meg Thiel), Andre' Borka (Rali), Lori, Brian Rademacher (Amy), Becky Rademacher (Dan Duerkop), Marty Rademacher (Hannah) and Jackie Kennard (Greg); her great grandchildren, Adi, Landon, Thea, Lucy, Kai, Kaleb, Mattilynn, Matthew, Zachary, Nathan, Brady, Paisley, Kielyn, Laicey, London, Eli, Olivia and Everett; her brother Roger; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Schmitz of Cologne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
