He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Painter and Priscilla Painter (Wozik); his wife Ella "Dusty" Gregory; and his brother Thomas Painter. He is survived by: his children, Terri Trom (Dean) of Waconia and Denny Painter (Terri) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Jacob Hilk (Joyce), Zachary Hilk (Jenny) and Emily Schultz (Joe); and his great grandchild Sophia Schultz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
