He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Christopher Joos (Andrea) of Chanhassen and Mary Westby (Nathan) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Ava Joos, Kellen Joos, Nolan Joos and Robbie Westby; his sister Kathryn Hanson of Carver; and his sister-in-law Delores Rubald of Crosslake. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials preferred to Roby Joos Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Joseph Catholic Community.
