He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his children, Courtney Messenger (Ethan) and Spencer Lenzen; his grandchildren, Colette, Myles, Wyatt and Bode; his sister Susie Harthun; his niece Rachel Zacharias; his nephew Nate Harthun; his great-nephew Calvin Zacharias; and his great-niece Sydney Zacharias.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
