It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne L. Carl of Waconia, Minnesota, born in New Effington, South Dakota, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Carl and Margaret Carl (Yeager); his wife Beverly Hansen; his son-in-law Brian Flygare; his siblings, Claude (Betty Lou Carl), Don (Betty Gail Carl), Douglas (Esther Carl), Darlene (Ole Olson) and Sandy Rae Carl; his parents-in-law, James and Bernece Hansen; his siblings-in-law, Audrey, Clarence Olson, Michele Hansen, Don Hansen and Terry Nerison; and his nieces, Danette Olson, Tiffany Pellgrino and Sherlyn Anderson.

He is survived by : his daughters, Becky Garrels (Mel) of Hutchinson, Terri Flygare (Eric Reierson) of Minnetonka, Debbie Carl Randazzo of Waconia and Kim Weinzierl of Mayer; his grandchildren, Ben Flygare (Jessica), Matthew Garrels (Kris), Christopher Garrels, Gerri Ann Williamson and Kayla Weinzierl; his great grandchildren, Savannah Flygare and Bryce Flygare; his sisters, Marlene Carl and Karen Nerison; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Hansen and Carolyn Mundt (Tom); and his nephew David Olson (Jacque). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
