He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae Moller of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Carol Boehland (Leon) of Bertha, Daniel Schmitz (Cindy) of Verndale, Barb Piecek (Frank) of Wadena, Teresa Perish (Roy) of Long Prairie, Duane Schmitz (Greta) of Wadena, Tom Schmitz (Mary) of Wadena, Cathy Wiese (Mark) of Verndale, Vern Schmitz (Ann) of Sebeka, Rita Nolte (Tim) of Sebeka, Dale Schmitz (Lora) of Wadena and Laura Trout (Brian) of Ely; and his sister Gertrude Roggenkamp of Breezy Point. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, & one great-great-grandchild.
