We announce the death of Dixie Murray (Wadena, Minnesota), who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 78. Dixie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Irvan" Lynk and Hazel Lynk (Daggett); her husband Joe; her siblings, Dale Lynk and Ila Nell "Sis" Ketchum; and her parents-in-law, Asher and Norene Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Huebner (Troy) of Buffalo and Jason Murray (Heidi) of Parkers Prairie; her grandchildren, Madelyn (Joseph Hoppe), Devin, Tanner Huebner, Brinna and Wyatt Murray (Cheyann Schramel); her sister Marian Davis of Staples; and her close friend Bill Kern of Hewitt.
At the family's request, donations in lieu of flowers are preferred to The Wadena Humane Society (https://wadenacountyhumanesociety.org.), Astera Health Foundation (https://asterahealth.org.) or to Guide Dogs for the Blind (https://donate.guidedogs.com.) an organization she supported with her dear friend, Lucille Belch.
