He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Grotheer and Louise Grotheer (Freitag). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Koep of Edward's Catholic Church; his children, Timothy Grotheer (Carol) of Roseville, MN, Richard Grotheer (Linda) of New York Mills, MN, Brenda Wegscheid (Dean) of New York Mills, MN and Scott Grotheer (Amy) of Deer Creek, MN; and his sister Susan Lundgren. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Deer Creek, Minnesota.
