She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd C. Dorow and Olga Sophia Krekula (Dorow); her stepfather Maurice John Krekula; her husband Raymond Leo Barthel Jr.; her brother Charles Dorow; and her great-nephew Lamar Dorow.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Peterson (Tim) of St. Michael, Rhonda McManigle (Travus) of Wadena, Rachel Mindermann (Paul) of New York Mills and Ryan Barthel of Wadena; and her siblings, Janell Brever (Joel "JJ") of Minneapolis and Duane Dorow (Georgia) of Frazee. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.
In honor of her longtime support of the Ronald McDonald House RIDE and the Ronald McDonald House of Fargo, attendees are invited to bring aluminum pop tabs to her service for donation, continuing a cause she cared deeply about.
