She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Downer and Hazel Downer (Ryder); her son Rodney; her husband Roy Eugene Stewart; and her siblings, Gordon Downer, Delores Stewart and Darlene Maaninga.
She is survived by: her sons, Marlin Stewart (Jaqui), Lowell Stewart (Vonnie) and Gordon Stewart (Kathleen). She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ Wadena (419 2nd St NE, Wadena, MN 56482). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
