With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Schmitz of Wadena, Minnesota, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Endres and Serena Endres (Greiner); her husband Nick; and her brothers, Vernon Endres and Duane Endres.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Nicholas Sr. and Lucille Schmitz (Reiger); her children, Mark Schmitz (Barb) of Caledonia, WI, Ann Martodam of Waite Park, Kenneth Schmitz of Osakis, Dianne McMullen of Brainerd, Linda Wozniak (Jerry Jr.) of Little Falls, Lucy Christiansen (Luke) of Brainerd and Jean Gammon (Charles) of Clear Lake; her siblings, Doris Geber, Judy Chastanet, Sheila Endres, Merlin Endres (Shirley) and Dean Endres (Cheri); and her sister-in-law Laurie Endres.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel (205 4th St SW, Wadena, MN 56482). A prayer will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (514 1st St SE, Wadena, MN 56482).
