He is survived by: his wife Barb (Phaneuf) of Ann's Catholic Church; his stepchildren, Carla Good (Jathan) of Fair Oaks, CA, Krista O'Brien of Plymouth and Peter Suchoski (Megan) of Shoreview; and his siblings, Judy Johnson (John) of Alexandria, Ralph Thoennes of Alexandria, Mary Reuter (Ken) of Sauk Centre, Michael Thoennes of Osakis, David Thoennes (Laurie) of Garfield, Darrel Thoennes (Alice) of Alexandria, Mark Thoennes of Millerville, Peter Thoennes of Alexandria and Evelyn Thoennes of Alexandria. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
