It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Kasperson of Wadena, Minnesota, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, DeLyle, Marguerite Swanson, Loren Kasperson and Darwin Leonard; and his uncles, Tim Bauer and Rusty Swanson.
He is survived by: his parents, Rick Kasperson and Cindy Kasperson of Verndale, MN.; his sisters, Shannon Ostlund of Verndale, MN and Shay Walz (Andy) of Wadena, MN.; his children, Aaron Anderson-Grecco (Angela) of Fargo, ND, Dylan Horn of Bertha, MN, Riley Kasperson of Wadena, MN and Atalie Anderson of Verndale, MN.; his grandmother Wilma Leonard of Wadena, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Payten Ostlund of Verndale, MN, Aubrey, Cody and Nolan Walz of Wadena, MN.. He is also survived by his siblings, children and beloved nieces and nephews.
