We announce the death of Wayne Perkins (Wadena, Minnesota), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 66. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Perkins and Irm Perkins (Meyer); and his former wife Lori Perkins. He is survived by: his former wife Lori J. Voge; his daughter Mandy; his wife Lisa M. Bigham (Astle) of Deer Creek; his children, Hanna Peterson (Chad) of Deer Creek, Caleb Bigham (Abby) of Richfield, Stephanie Yungbauer (Ethan) of Deer Creek and Amanda Perkins of St. Joseph; and his siblings, Ruth Schmeckpeper (Terry), Dale Perkins (Ann) and Jean Conkle (George). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joyful Spirit Methodist Church (61847 MN-29, Wadena, MN 56482). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
