He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanore Ekblad and William S. Ekblad; and his brother James Ekblad. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Ekblad (Pat) of McGregor, Burnsville, Kathleen Peterson of Oakdale, MN and David Ekblad (Sandra Hanson) of New Brighton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and their children.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Mille Lacs Funeral and Cremation Services (460 E Main St, Isle, MN 56342).
