She was predeceased by: her parents, John Karnes and Erma Karnes (Fuller); her husband Al; her daughter Rebecca Hommerding; and her siblings, Clayton, Lawrence, Ivan, Calvin, Harriett Walberg, Jeanette Krey and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, David (Mary) of Waite Park, Jan Fruth (Ken) of Avon and Jennifer Sakry (Nick) of Menomonie, WI; her son-in-law Robert Hommerding of St. Cloud; and her brothers, James Karnes and Hoyt Karnes. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
