He was predeceased by: his father Marcus Burger (Coulter); his wife Bea of Joseph's Catholic Church; his grandmother Rosalia; his siblings, Marcus, Alvin "Al", Kenneth, Vivian Ritter and Eldoris Zanoth; his half-sister Geraldine Petersen; and his granddaughter Melissa Burger.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Burger (Debbie) of Crosslake, Sandy Mayasich (Mark) of Crosslake, Scott Burger (Jenny) of Crosslake, Chris Burger of Minneapolis and Kelley Hennen (Jeff) of St. Cloud; and his pet Mikey. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; his nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta, in loving memory of Luverne.
