He is survived by: his children, Pam Theisen (Todd), Jeff Hengel (Karen), Denise Lunn (Joe), Paula Kimmes (Dean) and Lance Hengel (Bernice); his grandchildren, Sara Theisen (Drew), Tyler Theisen (Tasha), Joshua Hengel (Cameron), Justin Hengel, Mitch Kimmes, Megan Hengel (Kyle), Nate Kimmes (Rachel) and Cory VanVickle; his great grandchildren, Leo, Brady, Amelia, Sienna Theisen, Hannah and Harper Ostendorf; his siblings, Donovan "Pete" Hengel, Cleone Skaalerud and Kathy Polkinghorn; his sister-in-law Audrey Dingmann; and his friend Barney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
