He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Bartelt; his nephew Arron Bartelt; and his parents-in-law, Maynard Grunzke and Glee Hodapp. He is survived by: his mother Louise Bartelt; his wife Debra; his children, Missy Dahms (Brian), Trisha Hinze (Travis) and Trevor Bartelt (Jenna); his grandchildren, Payton, Braylee, Hudson Hinze, Charlie and Lincoln Bartelt; and his siblings, Connie Johnson (Dennis), Barry Bartelt (Deb Ireland), Candi Baer (Douglas) and Cindi Wenzel (Larry).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (789 Business Park Dr, Wells, MN 56097). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
