Averill Loney Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Averill Loney of Walker, Minnesota. Averill passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Mildred and William Avery Conley of Wrenshall; her husband David; her son Jeremy; her siblings, William, Ruth, Thomas, Michael and Margaret; her siblings-in-law, Doris, Ricki, Jan, Carl and Bill; and her nephews, Rolf and Joel.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer (Frank), Adam (Katrina) and Joshua (Kristy); her grandchildren, Brendan, Andy, Lauren, Austin, Cameron, Kaleb, Jimmy, Daniel, Evan, William, NatalieAnn and Abigail; her great grandchildren, Rachel and Mason; and her siblings, Catherine, Rita (Myron), David, Christine (Carl), Stephen (Lynn), Joel (Jayne) and Matt.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church (5925 Oberly Loop NW, Walker, MN 56484). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery (4777 US-53, Saginaw, MN 55779).
She enjoyed singing along with favorite hymns, many of which she still recalled in the final months of her battle with Alzheimer's. Above all, she treasured family. Though Alzheimer's ravaged her mind and body in the final years of her life, illness and death could not defeat her.
