He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth "Bud" Chastek and Pernell "Opsahl" Chastek. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelli and Kristine Price; his grandchildren, Cody, Heather, Maddie, Ella, Cameron, Claire and Colin; and his siblings, Larry, Dick, Nancy, Brenda and Sheila.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (16110 63rd Ave NW, Cass Lake, MN 56633). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Big Tap (108 Grant Utley Ave NW, Cass Lake, MN 56633).
