He was predeceased by: his father Fred Kenneth Jackson Jr.; his grandparents, Fred, Rose Jackson Sr., Benny and Margaret Lowry; his cousins, Tim, Renae, Laurie, Mike, Rose, Sheena of Randy, DJ, Theresa and Ernest Declusin; and his son Ernie.

He is survived by: his mother Ruby Lowry; his daughters, Haylie and Rayna; and his siblings, Dana Marie Jackson, Daniel Jackson (Rochelle), Fred Jackson III (Nakasha), Scotty Jackson, Aaron Jackson (Tashina) and Steve Johnson (Aurora). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews who meant the world to him; aunties, uncles, other family members, and many friends.
