Howard and Frieda Howard-Oothoudt (Smith); his girlfriend Nena Lovelace; his children, Deb Rico, Craig, Kevin Rico, Natasha Cloud, Jeanine, Lexi Rico, Nova Howard and Joe Gale; his stepdaughters, Kaydence and Alayna Cross; his siblings, Patrick Howard, Daniel, Aaron Oothoudt and Lavae Oothoudt; his aunts and uncles, Beverly, Kathy, Jean, Theresa, Margaret, Wayne, Jerry, Robin and Mike; and his grandchildren, James, Justin, Jade, Jada, Leah, Alena, Eric, Jasmine, Joseph, Daivin, Kiara, Kristopher and Keean. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Onigum Community Center (Onigum Road, Onigum, MN 56484). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
