He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest "Bud" Arthur Beard and Joan Beard (Johnston). He is survived by: his children, Jessica Olson (Denny), Joshua Beard (Tricia), Tammy Beard and Tracy Corrick; his grandchildren, Landon Beard, Krista Corrick, Keenan Corrick, Kolten Corrick, Kaidan Bye and Kylie Bye; and his siblings, Mark Beard (Nancy) and Chris Beard.
