He was predeceased by: his brother Dustino Casares; and his cousin Johnny Ortiz. He is survived by: his parents, David Jr. Casares and Sonia Casares (Ortiz); his siblings, David III, Dianalicia, Dominick, Destin, Sawyer and Selena; and his grandparents, Jesse, Leticia Ortiz, David Sr. and Guadalupe Casares. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and many close friends who viewed him as a brother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (220 W Johnson Ave, Warren, MN 56762). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
