He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alonzo "Lonny" and Minnie Palmer (Yuergens); and his siblings, Lorene Engelstad (Bunty), Robert Palmer, Lois Swanson (Robert) and Dick Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Beryl Truhn (Bossman); his sons, Randy Palmer of California, David Palmer (Wendy) of Hackensack, MN and Dana Palmer of Nevis, MN; and his stepchildren, Vicki Nicodemo (John) of Surprise, AZ, Robert Truhn (Tom Youngberg) of Surprise, AZ and Scott Truhn of Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
