He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Novak and Monica Novak (Vanyo); and his siblings, Dorothy Ann and Raymond Novak. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Soltvedt (Hoeft); his children, Steve "Beaver" Novak, Jackie Schroeder (Bill), Tom Novak (Anne) and Theresa Lamppa (Brendon); his stepchildren, Karla Davy (Paul), Missy Hoeft and Kenny Soltvedt; his siblings, Jerome (Barb), Danny (Cindy), Reinette Walter (Ray), Gerard (Kim), Anita Mattson (Jack) and Madonna Johnson (Dan); Leonard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
