It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sigvart Silnes of Warren, Minnesota, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigvart Sr. Silnes and Florence Silnes (Ecklund). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Silnes of Warren, MN; his children, Eric Silnes (Denise) of Brainerd, MN and Katy Halverson (Paul) of Eden Prairie, MN; his grandchildren, Khrista Silnes (Marshall James), Erica Carlberg (Yuri), Jay Halverson (Sarah Schaefer) and Casey Schmitz (Johnny); his great grandchildren, Alex, Gabriel, Kadeon, Phoenix, Brandon and Dillion; and his sister Edith Soli of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the DuBore Funeral Home (424 W Wentzel St, Warren, MN 56762). A prayer was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (101 S 8th St, Warren, MN 56762).
