He was predeceased by: his parents, James Summitt and Madeline Summitt (Thomas); his grandson Hunter Fairbanks; and his former wife Margot Summitt. He is survived by: his children, Ingrid Summitt (Andrew Fairbanks), Clayton Summitt (Lotus Lofgren) and Carrie Summitt; his brothers, Tom Summitt (Anne) and Roger Summitt (Joni); and his grandchildren, Adrian Johnson, Riley Sparks, Kaley Sparks and Emma Fairbanks.
