He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Benson and Sylvia Benson (Jokela); and his siblings, David and Mary (Bill Wager). He is survived by: his sister Bonnie Benson of Valley City, ND; and his close friend Joyce Kuju Lambeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
