It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Monahan of Waseca, Minnesota, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Beatrice Talley (Stransky) and Melvin Talley; her siblings, Gladyce Mathis, Sandra Amberg, John, James, Michael and Gerald Talley; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Talley, Byron Monahan, Melvin "Spike" Mathis, Richard Amberg and Odean Otterson.
She is survived by : her husband Jack Monahan; her children, Corey Monahan and Traci Stumo (Matthew); her grandchildren, Lillianna and Ethan Stumo; her sisters, Lori Wobschall (Gerald) and Margie Otterson; and her in-laws, Marlys Monahan, Corinne Talley, Barbara, Robert Kedrowski, Jeff and Kathryn Monahan. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Barb was an avid sewer, embroiderer, and knitter giving away hundreds of sewn masks during covid, knitting stocking hats for the homeless, and embroidering gifts for family, friends, and charity auctions.
