With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Lewer of Waseca, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Jean Lewer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lewis and Lillian Lewis (Schleusner); her husband Lawrence Lewer; her grandson Samuel Lewer; and her siblings, Marjorie Deef, Betty Caya and Donald Lewis.
She is survived by: her son Larry Lewer (Lana) of Coon Rapids; and her grandsons, Zachary Lewer and Jacob Lewer (Alyssa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church - Elca (401 3rd Ave NE, Waseca, MN 56093).
Memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.
