We are sad to announce that, on April 18, 2026, at the age of 85, Dorothy Jean Clayton of Waseca, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Ewest and Mamie Ewest (Kruger); and her husband Donald Clayton. She is survived by: her children, Brenda McConnell (Mike), Bill Clayton (Sofy), Larry Clayton (Cindy) and Sandy Schumacher (Chad). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
