Jeanette C. (Frederick) Byron Obituary
We announce the death of Jeanette C. (Frederick) Byron of Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 99. Jeanette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Frederick and Gerte Frederick (Huntington); her husband Robert J. Byron; her son Michael R. Byron; and her siblings, Marian Byron (Frank), Orlyn Frederick (Anne) and Gary Frederick.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Dahling (Ron) of Lake City, Kaye Monahan (Jeff) of Waseca and Robert F. Byron of Waseca; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Byron of Rochester; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Frederick of Denmark and Margaret Byron-Haggerty of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (111 4th St NW, Waseca, MN 56093). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanette requested memorials be made to Sacred Heart Endowment Fund or to Sacred Heart Catholic School in her memory.
