We bid farewell to John Wesley Langford of Waseca, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2025 at the age of 78. John Wesley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Viola Langford (Bishop) and Clarence Langford; his siblings, Geri Thomas and Roger Langford; and his son Daniel Dwight Langford (Tracy) of Janesville.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Langford of Waseca; his children, Kevin Langford (Katrina) of Chaska and Christine Langford of Lee's Summit, MO; his siblings, Dennis Langford of Roanoke, VA, Ellen Herme of Mankato and Crystal Blickem (Jeff) of North Mankato; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Sydney, Monte (Joy), Tristen (Brooke), Mitchell (Brittany), Matthew, Michael and Kayle Langford. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ Community Church (2200 4th St NE, Waseca, MN 56093). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Woodville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, John's family asks that donors direct their memorial contributions to St. Croix Hospice.
