She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sumner and Fay Eileen Stiff (Bashore). She is survived by: her husband Quintin Pettigrew of Waseca; and her daughters, Kara Pettigrew (Sam Basho) of Lake Elmo, Kayla Pettigrew (Libier Bermudez) of Des Moines, IA, Jennifer Kust (Jeff Erickson) of Hudson, WI and Bethany Meyer (Brandon Meyer) of McKinney, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Cannon Falls Cemetery (721 State St E, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (503 2nd Ave NE, Waseca, MN 56093). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Karen are preferred.
